The Road Is Made by Walking.

What's new in the life of Adebisi? Usually I say not much to those who ask. Even though the real answer would be the exact opposite.
As an Emerging artist in the game I am now in subtle ways seeing my grind pay off.
I'mma show you how one decision leads to others and greater results. Some months ago I started recording and E.p with my homie Reason of 4ARMusic Group. We soon found out that we had a good vibe and chemistry going. So with that energy we banged out some hot shit. Out of the 9 tracks we banged out we kept seven. Out of those seven tracks I released one to the masses (This is), and it got a good reception!
Around that time I saw that there was a showcase going on in New York that I had been wanting to perform at and I just hadn't. I contacted the the organizers to that showcase and headed out to NY for an audition. WhewI went out to NY auditioned with the song "This Is" and get invited to be a part of the showcase. All the said in done and i come back home and hear of another showcase going on in ATL (Almost Famous), so immediately I want to do that one too. Fuck it this is what i do!
By no means am I a rich man that can afford to travel around the world nor am I signed to a company that can pay me. I just do it, because I was born to do it.
Anyway. I do some fundraising, save some money up, bust a few hustles, quit my job hen I'm off to New York (this was all a 3 wk process). NYC, long story short I do a lot of networking, do the showcase and everything goes just cool. My real importance for that trip was the resources that it opened up for me.
Now while I'm down in NYC I contact Rovella Williams from Almost Famous to see if she knows anyone in NYC. She connects me with Yusef of Digiwaxx. Good thing. We talk before the showcase, and the seeds are planted for a future business relationship.
Every action has a reaction. If I wouldn't have recorded the joints with Reason, I never would have gotten any reaction from an NYC DJ, never would of blossomed to go and make connects in in NY, I would've most likely never had the gusto to go do Almost Famous, etc..
I actually could go on and on about this, but by now you should really get the picture. In order to get to where you are tyring to go, at first you gotta strat going!. The road is made by walking, and no matter what happens along the road you must only keep focus on your final destination. You can be broke, hungry, cold, lonely, abused, depressed, what ever. No matter the situation as long as you stride forward and keep it moving everything will work out fine
I gotta go. Time to walk that road.
