Damn! I got ethered by Mz Stylez on SimplyStylez.com! She's tough! Its all good tho, she still gets love from ya boy!

I always go way out on a limb to get my music heard (at least) by someone out of my immediate circles! The kid got BODIED this week on simplystylez.com! Lol! I ain't mad though, that would be madd sensitive of me to catch feelings. I just roll wit the criticisms. Everyone won't like every track. She did mention that she felt the music on my myspace page (in her written blog), just not the particular song that I sent! I am okay with that, as well as being the simplystylez.com installment #3 source of comic relief! Folks it takes heart to make this music, and if u can't take getting knocked..how can you take getting props. Respect to Mz Styles, and what she's doing to get folks music out to the masses. I was at least in the same review with Illa J, and Willie the Kid! Good company at least!

To review or not to review you decide!

Once again I had to reach out to the critc/blogger critic of critics to get some feedback on one of my newer songs "This Is" produced by Reason of 4AR Music Group. As always I had my fingers crossed, because I know how hard the judgement can be and as an artist I always wear my heart on my sleeve! I'm not at all sensitive though....don't get it twisted!. Hate it or Love it! U be the judge..

Recently I had one of the songs off of my upcoming album "Hard Money" posted at http://jacquesmorel.blogspot.com/ for review. The song that was up for review is a song called "Caddillac Music" produced by the homie Ren of No Gimmicks Productions. I think the song is a good song, but then again it's my song. So that's why I asked for it to be reviewed. The song wasn't a mastered song so I knew I wass gonna take some points there. I asked Jacquesmorel.com to review the song because he has a very unbiased opinion and to receive high praise of the song would have been a positive. However he gave it a mediocre review. I can't be mad at him though. He was honest in what he thought the song was lacking and ways that it could have been improved. I respect that. Plus this is what i do and everyone has their own opinion so hey. It's all fair. I'm not at all a poor sport.

On the other hand. hate it or love it I'm pleased that he took out the time to consider reviewing the song and taking a listen to my music.
