Alternative: Tap the Masses Presents:"The Constellations" performing live along with Fresh Cut Collective Wednesday @ Mad Planet (SetBack Video)

I'VE BEEN WAITING TO ROCK THIS SHOW FOR A MINUTE! I'm a fan of The Constellations, and they are also friends of mines. I was so excited that Peter Adams of Tap The Masses got back with me and decided to book us for this show. It will be incredible. For those of you not familiar with the Southern Gothic sounds of The Constellations here are a few links.

Long Road

Just so ya’ll ain’t getting it twisted all these recent blog posts were written before I posted them. The damn days inn I stayed in while in Atlanta had some jacked up ass wi fi. Basically that shit wasn’t working.
I am currently on the road back from ATL and like this long road that we are traveling, my life has been one journey along this long metaphoric road! It makes me feel satisfied to know that all the work I have put into pursuing my destiny is not in vain. Thus far in my music career I have had ups and I have definitely had some downs. However when it all starts to come together you begin to realize that all the trials and tribulations were all a process of God making you better prepared and equipped for the situation!
As you would all know if you have been keeping up with my blog posts I left my job about a month ago to further pursue my music career and really it was probably one of the wisest decisions that I have ever made for myself. Real talk I’m broke as hell right about now, but I have no fear and a heart full of faith. Everything will work out just fine for me, because I am pursuing what God has planned for me to do. Even though last week I was questioning my decision as to did I make the right decision. You know being behind on rent, and having to scrap up some food so when my kids come thru they can have something to eat will make you second guess. Rent still ain’t paid, but fuck it the kids are still straight! Some money I was kind of counting on didn’t come through like I planned either, but hey Imma still make it.
Last week was a bitch, but this weekend in ATL made it all worthwhile. I constantly keep the faith that God will reward me for being faithful to my craft. I know he will.

Almost Famous

First off I must thank Ms. Rovella Williams for extending me the opportunity to perform and showcase my talents in front of one of the most wonderful crowds ever at the Atlanta Almost Famous Showcase. This was clearly one of my high points as an emerging artist.
The crowd was AWESOME…well to me at least (I can’t say they showed everyone who graced the stage the same love, but hey every artist can’t perform either)! Another night, another great show! I had everything perfectly working in my favor! One of my first observations was that none of the artists worked on getting the crowd involved, so in my show I made sure I had them rocking with me. Another thing was that hell, these cats laaaaacked mature mic handling and stage presence! So I definitely made sure I emceed the hell out of that thang! And……it was all received MOTHERFUCKING well!
All I know is everyone who was anyone came and hollered at me after my set was over EVERYONE! Tonight I got all the love, and I mean allllll the love (okay...maybe not all the love, but I got a whole bunch)!
I recently did another artist showcase in NYC and compared to AF that shit was not cutting it! Lemme just get this straight first….New York has some of the most stubborn, crabby assed, NYC dick riding motherfuckers in life. If I would’ve pulled a fucking rabbit out of my ass while doing a one handed hand stand and making ziti these motherfuckers still would’ve acted all uptight! It was cool, but I know for a fact that I go in……those guys are jus gonna miss the boat.
ATL showed love and respect where respect was due. This is the exact reason that the South is poppin and the rest of the map is just poppin off at the fucking mouth! Ha! Holler at ya boy. I'll have the footage posted later.
